Cedar

Emma is such a fantastic cat sitter, I would highly recommend her to anyone I know looking for a reliable, trustworthy, and beyond valuable pet sitter.

I met Emma a few years ago through an online pet sitting app and even there I could see she had wonderful reviews, was bonded and had a detailed profile that allowed me to get to know a bit about her. 

Since then, she has become such a vital person in helping life go smoothly, for both me and my cat Cedar, and I honestly don’t know what we would do without her! 

She is easy to book with, communicates clearly and promptly, and her rates are fantastic which is so hard to find in Calgary. When Emma stays over, she always sends at least one picture a day of Cedar and I always feel “in-the-loop” when I am gone, which is so relieving to have when you are away from home.

Cedar can also be a bit stand-offish, and it is so nice to know Cedar enjoys her time with her and trusts her, which is evident with all of the cuddle pictures! Emma also ensures to exercise Cedar and play with her lots, which is great for an indoor kitty. She is also comfortable giving her daily medication, at no extra charge. 

Beyond all of this, Emma also takes care of my home when I am gone. The place looks just as I left it and she even waters my plants for me – she is a fantastic house guest! Over the years I have come to think of Emma as a friend and a cat-auntie to Cedar as she has become such an important part of our lives.  Every time Emma comes over for a stay, I am so comfortable knowing I have someone who takes such great care of my kitty AND my household.

Emma has been such a help with caring for my ‘terrible two.’

She has an obvious love for cats and is very knowledgeable about dogs too. As a first time dog owner, she helped me adapt to the change and is always on hand for advice or reassurance. The boys love having her around and Roman loves his fun walks with his ‘Auntie Emma’

Ellie

Emma stayed in our home to care for Ellie while we travelled. She sent pictures and videos and kept us updated daily.

It was great for Ellie to stay in her own home and to keep her usual routine. For a few days after we got back, Ellie was waiting at the door for someone… we think it was Emma! Highly recommend Pet Pals.

Miles

What a gem we found!
We hired Emma after the cat-sitter we were using for years moved away. Knowing how temperamental our Bengal cat can be, it was important for us to find a good fit. Someone we knew could manage his moods, pet him in just the right way, be available when we needed them.

Emma came for a meet & greet with Miles who was very curious about who this new person was that smelled like other cats and dogs. We liked her demeanor right away and it was evident she loves what she does. She took care in learning his routine and learning about the house. It was a very easy decision to hire Emma.

Since, we’ve had Emma and her team member Sam quite a few times over the past two years. They always sends photos and updates on what the two are up to during their visits. She keeps Miles loved while we were away, and we always know he is in good hands while she is there. It feels good knowing we can trust her to take care of him and to keep an eye on the house while we’re gone.

We have said many times how lucky we feel to have found Emma!

Tao & Meka

Emma & Jeffrey have been a great asset to us with their care for our senior pups.

They are super reliable with requested arrival times and our dogs just love the walks they have with them. Emma has also helped us numerous times with dog sitting while we are out of town. Our pups have had a number of medical conditions in the past year and I can rely on Emma and her team to follow instructions and be caring and gentle with them.
